Environmental site assessments
ISO 14035 and ASTM E1527
Environmental assessments of sites and organisations can be done according to ISO 14015:2001 or according to the American standard ASTM E1527. These standards are used by international concerns for instance in due diligence projects to assess risks and effects of environmental measures of new or existing areas.
ISO 14015 and ASTM E1527
- are the worldwide accepted standards for environmental site assessments
- can establish synergies in the field of environmental aspects of ISO 14001:2004
- additionally include specific requirements for the assessment of sites and their environmental effects
Experience counts
Due to completed assessments on the one hand and due to the team-structure on the other hand, KEC can conduct such assessments optimally.
Besides the fulfilment of requirements of the standards, in our projects we put particular emphasis on following key points:- detailed analysis of the environmental effects
- development of potentials for improvement
- minimisation of risks by contaminated sites
