Risk management system

Risk management according to ONR 49001

Risk management is a frequently used term that is used in many cases. Many different products and services are offered relating to risk management.

As risk management we understand the management system that was defined by the standard of the Austrian standardisation institute (ONR 49001). It was developed corresponding to ISO 9001 and makes also possible an obtainment of an external certification.

This ONR 49001 and the corresponding guidelines show how a risk management system has to be structured and can be integrated into an existing management system. Moreover it shows with which instruments risks can be identified and assessed.

Based on the norm of the Austrian standardisation institute we accompany our customers through the implementation of a comprehensive risk management system in the whole organisation. On demand, we of course support the realisation of special projects like the development of risk scenarios in single divisions of a company.

Your advantages:

  • Cognition of the critical risks in your company as a base for further measures
  • Reduction of risks at all levels of the company by integration of risk management in a management system
  • Observance of legal requirements concerning risk management (e.g. resulting from commercial law, environmental liability law)
  • Competitive advantages due to the minimisation of risks
