Environmental and safety due diligence
As environmental and safety aspects can often seriously endanger the efficiency and stability of companies and increase costs, evaluations of companies increasingly do not only contain economic points. Consequently, at sites and organisations so called environmental and safety due diligence analyses are conducted to identify risks e.g. before buying a real estate or company and to avoid mistaken investments and high consequential costs.
This evaluation can be based on the standards ISO 14015 or ASTM E1527 which are worldwide accepted for environmental assessments of sites.
Due to finished company assessments in the field of environment and safety and due to the composition of the KEC team (natural scientists, legal experts, safety engineers) KEC can conduct such assessments optimally.Beside the fulfilment of requirements of standards, in our projects, we put particular emphasis on following key points:
- Detailed analysis of the environmental effects and safety aspects
- Identification of potentials for improvement
- Minimisation of risks by contaminated sites
