KANZIAN ENGINEERING & CONSULTING was founded in June 1997 by DI Dr. Rudolf Kanzian as an individual enterprise. In June 2001, the transformation to KANZIAN ENGINEERING & CONSULTING GmbH (as limited liability company) was realised.

KEC supports enterprises and public authorities in the development of quality-, environmental-, safety- & health- as well as Total Quality and risk-management systems (individual as well as integrated and combined systems).

In trainings and workshops in the field of quality, environment, risk and safety, course participants are optimally prepared and trained to specific practically orientated questions.

With analyses regarding the environment, quality, risk and safety and internal audits according to international standards and laws, by request companies and municipalities are reviewed and improvement opportunities are identified.

In science-based studies and waste-management projects and plans, we support decisions of ministries, federal states, municipalities and enterprises.

Since 10.01.2001 we are certified according to

• ISO 9001 (quality management),
• ISO 14001 (environmental management),
• SCC* (safety management) and
• OHSAS 18001 (safety management)

2012 - as one of the first in the consulting business - we have been certified according to ISO 50001 (energy management) and in the field of trainings according to ISO 29990 (learning services for non-formal education and training).

Since 01.02.2001 we are accredited as technical safety center.

KEC is certified according to EMAS

Since March 2004, KEC as first technical office and first consulting organisation in Austria is reviewed by the TüV Süd according to the EMAS regulation (EU regulation concerning the voluntary involvement of organisations in an eco-management and audit scheme).
