V.EFB - association for the conferment of a certificate for waste management companies

The Austrian association for the conferment of a certificate for waste management companies (V.EFB - http://www.vefb.at) is an independent organisation that orientates itself to the German system of waste management companies.

In Austria, the certification to a waste management company is not obligated by law, but a voluntary agreement of waste management. This raises the significance of this branch specific certification and is used for the documentation of the excellent standard of the single Austrian waste management companies.

The certificate

• attests the high quality standard by awarding waste management companies
• serves as documentation of the high standard of Austrian waste management companies
• is a voluntary verification in excess of the legal requirements

KEC offers two possibilities regarding waste management companies. On the one hand, Mr. Kanzian is accredited as waste management verifier and can certificate waste management companies. On the other hand, KEC as a qualified consulting company leads companies to a successful certification by other verification organisations.

It is clear both activities cannot be realised for the same customer (incompatibility). However, stemming from that double-sided, but always separated point of view, we have high professional competence.
